Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because I wanted to play tennis in college and it has small class sizes which would benefit my learning style.

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is Maggie Schlerman because she is funny and I like the way she teaches material.

You’re majoring in Accounting because? 

I’m majoring in accounting because my aunt is a CPA and I like to work with numbers!

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

Besides athletics I am involved in the Phi Delta Tau Greek Life Fraternity.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

My go-to musical artists are Juice WRLD, Warren Zeiders, and Roddy Rich.

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending Central and playing a sport is not easy to balance with classes sometimes. Being able to play the sport I love and still participate in college classes and events makes me feel very free and independent.

What’s the thing people in Iowa get wrong about living in Montana?

People think that Montana is barren and flat like Iowa. It is actually very mountainous and scenic, especially in the spring and the summer! It is also very cold there but, it isn’t as humid so they’re different types of suffering cold-wise. I would say it gets colder in Montana but, the humidity here is no fun.
 
What was the last picture you took on your phone?

The last picture I took on my phone is a picture of accounting notes! Haha.
 
Favorite superhero?

My favorite superhero is Superman!

Teammate who has a hidden talent that should audition for America’s Got Talent?

Our Assistant Coach Lewton could argue about any subject that there is. It doesn’t matter if he knows he’s wrong, he will keep arguing and if he can’t then he’ll change the subject to something else he knows he can argue about.

Favorite TV Show

My favorite TV show is probably The Office.

What’s it like to play for Coach Ferrell?

It is never a surprise to play for Coach Ferrell. We always know what to expect in terms of practice and of standards for practice. Coach Ferrell has made a change to the way we run practice this year and honestly, that is what keeps me going here! He’s always enjoyable at practice and he does his best to make the team comfortable and to try to engage in conversation with us like we are his friends!

What’s your favorite part about being a member of the Central men’s tennis team?

My favorite part about being a member of the tennis team is the bond I have with all my teammates and the way we act around each other is always comedic and loving.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

I hope to be a CPA for a decent business 10 years from now and I also hope to be teaching tennis in some way for my community and maybe even play competitively in my community.

Favorite food from Central Market

My favorite food at the central market is the chili Verde pulled pork in a sandwich.

Bucket list

Something on my bucket list is to travel around the country and maybe even the world, playing tennis in different places.
