Why Central?
I love the close-knit relationships that I have with friends on campus, the community of Pella as well as Central’s welcoming atmosphere, and Central’s outstanding psychology program. I also love how I can be as involved as I want to on campus and have so many opportunities afforded to me through all the organizations Central offers.
Favorite Professor and why?
Keith Jones, Karen Cleveland, Ashley Scolaro, and Randy Renstrom
This question is a tough one because I have met and learned from so many amazing people already. I have built relationships with all of the psychology professors by taking their classes and working for them in the department work study. I especially enjoy their sense of humor and their willingness to help students.

You're majoring in psychology because...?
First of all, I am genuinely interested in learning about psychology in general. Secondly, I want to reduce the stigma regarding mental illness, and help people overcome their mental illnesses. I think many people have misperceptions about mental disorders and those who are suffering do not get the help they need. I want to be a part of that change.
Which animal best represents you and why?
A wolf because it embodies a tenacious spirit  that I relate to. I value work ethic and strive to succeed in all facets of my life.
What is the best prank you've pulled at Central?
When I pretended to be on my cell phone in my room while my roommate was in the bathroom and having a friend hide and scare her when she came back into the room. She was terrified and I recorded the whole thing!
What fashion trend do you wish would come back?
None. They’re in the past for a reason. lol

Pancheros!
If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why?
Harry Potter because duh.

...that we can win some Iowa Conference games as team, each get into our groove individually, have fun on and off the court and make the conference tournament."

The one thing people don't know about Coach Briggs
People don’t know how much of a baller she is. Like, she kicks our butts in practice and its awesome! She’s all over the court--offensively and defensively--and it prepares us to win!
Why do you love Central women's basketball?
I love how Women’s Central Basketball is a family. I know that I have an entire support system to lean on in times of adversity.

...Hopefully I'll be a professional in clinical psychology, be married and on my way to starting a family!
