Why Central?
I chose Central because Coach Van Kley and coach Donahue seemed a lot more interested in me than any other college coaches did. Once I came on my visit up here, I loved the campus and the team was very welcoming which made my decision a lot easier.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite Professor would probably be Dr. Benedict, my diversity of life professor. He was loud and made class pretty fun.
In your iPod?
When i’m just sitting around hanging out I like listening to country, but while I'm working out or getting ready for a match I like listening to rap.
You’re majoring in Biology because?
I want to go into nursing school and become a nurse.
Musical artist you’d love to see in concert?
I wouldn’t mind going to a George Strait concert.
Favorite cartoon when you were a kid?
When I was a kid, I always used to watch Dragon Ball Z. That was my favorite!
What’s different about wrestling in Iowa as opposed to Arizona?
There’s not really much of a difference wrestling in different states, but the main difference is transitioning from high school wrestling to college wrestling which is a lot more high pace.
If you could have one super-power what would it be and why?
Hmmm, if I could have a superpower, it would probably be to teleport. I used to always want to teleport when I was little.
Toughest part of practice?
The toughest part of practice would definitely be going live with Coach Donahue. It’s pretty much a fight every time I have to wrestle him.
If you were stranded on an island, which teammate would you want with you?
I would probably be stranded on an island with Jaime. That guy always knows how to entertain me somehow!
Person past or present you’d like to have lunch with
My great-grandma, I wish I could’ve seen her a last time before she passed.
Favorite TV Show
Ink Master. They do some pretty cool tattoos and it’s funny watching them all argue over who’s better.
The one thing people don’t about assistant coach Kevin Donahue?
He became an All-America with a broken ankle and he won’t date a girl who isn’t into wrestling.
Why do you love Central Wrestling?
We’re all like a family! We’ve all become super close to each other and would literally do anything to watch each other do better or succeed. It’s like we're all a bunch of brothers with the same goals.
“Ten years from now I’ll...”
Hopefully be done with nursing school being a nurse somewhere and maybe being a wrestling coach.
