Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because of the small-town feel and connection I felt on my visit. I could tell right away that the professors truly care about your education and want you to succeed.
Favorite professor and why?
Doctor George Nwaogu because he always has a smile on his face and is happy if you come by his office if you need help on an assignment or class content.
You’re majoring in finance because?
From a young age I was always better with numbers and was not the best at writing. The stock market and investments have always intrigued me.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am also involved in intramurals, Turning Point USA and the Rocket League Team
Who are your go-to musical artists?
I love rock, AC-DC, Bon-Jovi and Shinedown are some of my favorites.
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
Central has helped me make friendships that will last the rest of my life. Going through the ups and downs of athletics with the people I am closest to has created a strong bond with my teammates.
If you could copy one pitch from an MLB pitcher, what pitch would you take and from who?
This is a tough one. All time I would have to say Mariano Rivera’s cutter because it was unhittable throughout his career but right now I’d say Jordan Hick’s sinker because it would be nice to throw 105 mph with movement.
What’s the most important of your warm-up routine?
Praying is the most important part of my routine because I ask God for strength. It helps me to focus and not be anxious knowing he is with me.
If you could get rid of one food entirely, what would it be?
There is no need for brussels sprout on this planet.
Best MLB stadium you’ve ever been to?
Busch stadium is the best but Fenway is a close second.
Favorite TV Show
I love Regular show. Old cartoon network is unbeatable.
What’s it like to play for Coach Klunder?
Playing under coach Klunder has been amazing. Emphasizing team culture and having core values that we hold as a team has benefitted us tremendously. Coach Klunder is also one of the best developmental coaches in the country so seeing my teammates as well as myself develop and grow has been great. Our program is totally headed in the right direction and it is really exciting to see.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central baseball?
Being around my best friends all the time and sharing in success is the best part. Bringing the energy and cheering the team on in the dugout is also one of my favorites.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to own my own investment firm and help people achieve their financial goals.
Favorite food from Central Market
Brisket Quesadillas are by far the best.
What's on your bucket list?
I’ve always wanted to be on a game show like family feud or wipeout.
