Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because it offered a great accounting program and allowed me to continue my soccer career. It’s close enough to home so my parents can watch the games and the coaches are incredible. I felt at home the minute I was on campus.
Favorite professor and why?
Julianne Taylor my ICS teacher. She was one of the first professors to show that they really care for their students and want us to have success. She helped me through the first part of my freshman year as a teacher and a friend.
You’re majoring in accounting and business management because?
I love numbers and the organization that comes with accounting, and I only have to take a couple more classes to get a major in Business Management.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
Work at Kuyper at the Front Desk and Fitness Desk. Attend FCA occasionally and a bible study with the soccer team.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
I have made a new family with my teammates and coaches. These guys will be in my life for a long time and are some of my best friends. I consider them to be brothers. Soccer has given me a purpose in college besides school and I wouldn’t have had the same experience freshman year without it.

What’s it like to play for Coach Laidlaw?
He always pushes us in practice to perform like it’s a game. He has a competitive spirit but always puts the needs of his players first and sees the positives in everything. He is not only a great coach, but a great person and I am proud to play for him.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central Soccer?
That the team is like a family. Everyone has each other’s backs on and off the field and my teammates are incredible people to be around. We have the ability to beat up on each other in practice and then go laugh at dinner like nothing happened. My teammates are some of the best people I know.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to have a successful job at an accounting firm with a nice family. I also hope to still be in contact with my teammates and be a soccer coach somewhere on the weekends.
