Why did you choose Central?
The people here make it feel like a home away from home. I’ve made lifelong friends for sure. Getting the opportunity to play basketball and golf also was a huge bonus.
Favorite professor and why?
Professor Shelley Bradfield is my favorite professor. I met her for the first time this semester and she quickly became my favorite. She is so invested in her students and truly cares about all the things we are involved in, including but not limited to, academics.
You’re majoring in communications, why?
 Because it opens the door to many opportunities. I struggle with knowing what I want to do after I graduate, and this allows me to choose a specific career later.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
SAAC and FCA
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Pitbull and Queen. Neither of them has ever made a bad song. I also like literally any country song, especially older country.
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
It has allowed me to develop into a better person. College sports are challenging, and it has taught me to roll with the punches.
What song would you audition on The Voice with?
Bohemian Rhapsody. I will sing every single note.
If you could choose one hobby that may seem out of reach right now, what hobby would you take up and why?
I want to learn how to ride a unicycle so badly. I haven’t ever tried it, but I feel like it’s something I could eventually get the hang of. Plus, how cool would that be??
Who do you admire the most?
Jessica Carithers. She manages to live with me without killing me haha
Favorite TV Show?
Friends. I think I could probably quote most of the episodes.
What’s it like to play for Coach Steinkamp?
We can tell Coach Steinkamp is very passionate about the game. He pushes us to get better every day. I know he thinks we’re funny even though he doesn’t laugh at our jokes during practice.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of the Central College women’s basketball team?
Knowing there’s a family that has your back. I love my teammates.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope I have a job that I enjoy. Maybe a cat, too.
Favorite food from Central Market?
Pasta bar. The meat sauce is unmatched.
Bucket list?
Live in Europe for a little while, go on a hot air balloon ride, go to a Pitbull concert, and meet Rob Gronkowski
