Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because of the welcoming environment and how the women on the team made me feel at home even before becoming a student at Central. I loved the small class sizes and all of the opportunities that were available at Central.

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is Keith Jones because even though I took his class freshman year, he still follows up with me about my academic and athletic accomplishments.

You’re majoring in Biology and Spanish because?

I am interested in both science and language, and I want to use my knowledge gained at Central in these areas to make a positive difference in the world.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

Besides athletics, I am also currently a teacher’s assistant for a chemistry lab. In the past, I have also been involved in residence life as a resident advisor and have been a student instructor for a biology class. I love the opportunity to be involved in multiple areas on campus that Central provides and makes possible.

 How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Attending Central and playing a sport has impacted my life by teaching me the value of hard work and making sacrifices for what you are passionate about.

Teammate who would be most likely to win on “Dancing with the Stars”.

Natalie Patterson because she wasn’t afraid to show off her moves during an impromptu dance party in the basement of our rental house on the last night of our team trip.

What’s the best concert you have ever been to?

CNCO (Spanish boy band) concert in Chicago with my hometown best friend who sparked my love of learning the Spanish language.

Outer Banks.

 What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
10 years from now I hope to be making an impact in the world of medicine or education.

Travel to all 7 continents and run a marathon.
