Why did you chose Central?
I knew about Central since I was a kid from my parents. When I went on a visit, I immediately felt like I was at home. I also knew that Central had great academics and a good history in track and field.
Favorite professor and why?
It’s gotta be Big Wave Dave (Dr. Dave Pavlat). Dr. Pavlat makes class fun and really cares about his students.
You’re majoring in Exercise Science because?Â
I am majoring in exercise science because I plan to be a PE teacher.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I used to be in A cappella choir. I am in CTA otherwise I am usually just hanging out with my pod mates or friends.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
This changes a lot but right now it would have to be Lewis Capaldi, Queen, and Mt. Joy.
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
I have met so many amazing people here during my time at Central. Some of my best friends I have met here.  And I’ve been able to explore and try new things I never thought I would be able to do.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or future? Why?
I really enjoy history so I would probably go back in time to see some major historical events.

Which cartoon character do you most resemble?
While taking a survey I was told Yogi Bear, Sully from Monsters Inc, or Wreck-it Ralph were the characters I look the most like.

What’s it like to compete for Coach Sturman?
Sturm is a lot of fun. He is very supportive of his athletes. He can be funny at practice but when it comes time to compete, he’s all business.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central track and field?
The team itself is one of the best parts. I don’t know what I would do without my teammates, everyone is supportive and cares about you. Going to Pancheros (and for throwers Cold Stone) after Wartburg meets are also a plus.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
In 10 years I hope to be teaching PE, health, and physics somewhere, and maybe coaching.
