Why did you choose Central?

I chose Central because of how it felt like home away from home. It truly felt welcoming.

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is Dr. Olin because of how relatable he is. I enjoyed all of his classes and he was always available to have a good conversation.

You’re majoring in Social Science and Secondary education because? 

I chose this because it was one of my favorite subjects in high school.  Also, it gives me the most chances to connect with students and talk about real life situations.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am involved in 2 different bands: Steel Pans and Alma. I am also involved with CTA or Central Teachers Academy, along with the history club.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

This is difficult and I change my artists quite often. Right now my top artists are The Eagles, Rush, ZZ Top, Toby Keith, and Darius Rucker

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

It has really taught me time management and how to juggle school, music and tennis. It also brought me a deeper meaning of teamwork and collaboration.

Where would you go if you had a time machine?

I would pick three decades to go back to the 20’s, the 50’s, and then 75-85.  Those decades were amazing for America, both for music, civil rights, and economic growth.

All-time favorite road trip you’ve gone on?

We drove all the way to Montana and spent two weeks exploring Glacier National park.
 
What is your favorite Central College tradition?

My favorite college tradition is going to the president's house for a meal both Freshman and Senior year. I think its a great way to connect with all of your classmates as well as the staff.

Favorite part about having your twin on campus as a student-athlete?

Know that I have a close family member in case of emergencies.

What’s it like to compete for Coach Ferrell?

He is always high energy and always pushes you to play your best.  He is always looking out for what is the best for you.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central tennis? 

Connecting with my teammates and enjoying challenging each other to be the best tennis players we can be.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

In ten years, I want to be earning my Masters in administration and working on becoming a principal of a school.

Favorite food from Central Market?

The burger bar or the Mongolian grill on Fridays
