Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because of the close-knit family community. The professors care about us as students and as individuals and truly want their students to succeed. Central also gave me the opportunity to continue my athletic career while getting a great education. The softball program is one of a kind. It has given me a chance to create friendships that will last a lifetime while competing at a high collegiate level.
Favorite professor and why?
It is so hard to pick a favorite professor here on campus. But if I had to pick it would be Dawn Reece. She has helped me find a deeper passion for my future career path and has given me the skills I will need to become successful in the future.
You’re majoring in Sociology because?
I knew I wanted to pick a major that revolved around helping people. Sociology has given me the opportunity to create relationships with people and help them through difficult times, while also helping to create change.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
Besides athletics, I am involved in SAAC and the MVP training program. Both of these involvements have given me a new way to connect with different students on Central’s campus.

Morgan Wallen, Keith Urban, Chris Lane, Jordan Davis
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
Playing softball at Central College has impacted me in so many ways. It has given me a group of people that I can rely on no matter what is going on in my life. While also giving me the opportunity to connect with past players. Whether it’s off the field or on the field I know I have teammates I can always count on.
If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be and why?
My Wish by Rascal Flatts, that song has always been one of my favorites.
What are your pet peeves?
My BIGGEST Pet peeve is not being on time. (DRIVES ME CRAZY)
What is your perfect pizza?
Thats easy...just your ordinary pepperoni pizza.
Favorite time of day, why?
My favorite time of the day is 1 o’clock and that is because it is NAP TIME.
Favorite TV Show
My favorite show would have to be a tie between Yellowstone and Law & Order SVU. I could watch those shows over and over again.
What’s it like to play for Coach Wares?
Playing for Coach Wares is one of the most rewarding challenges. Every practice he is always pushing us to grow as players to reach our full potentials. He not only cares about us as players but he cares about us as individuals off the field.. He teaches us so many things that go beyond the field that I will be able to use for the rest of my life.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central softball?
The feeling of being a part of something bigger than myself. Being able to put on a Central softball uniform has been one of the greatest opportunities. I am able to play softball with teammates that love the game of softball just as much as me and connect with alumni that help us find the deeper meaning of what it truly means to be able to play at Central.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
In 10 years I hope to be a successful social worker, married and raising a family of my own.
