Why did you choose Central?
   
Both of my parents went to Central, so I felt like I needed to visit.  The minute I stepped on campus it felt like home to me.  It’s a small school where I would receive a good education, have one-on-one contact with my professors, and continue my golf career; all things that I was looking for in a college.  I have to give a lot of credit to Coach Wilkinson in my decision to attend Central.  We really connected during the recruiting process, and I was impressed by the golf program at Central.  I felt like all around Central was the place for me.  

Favorite professor and why?
   
My favorite professor is Dr. Garr. Dr. Garr genuinely cares about every one of her students and does everything she can to help her students succeed.  She always has her door open whether you need to get help or if you just want to stop by and talk about life.  She brings so much positive energy and excitement to class.  I also think highly of Professor Goodman.  He was very supportive and helpful during my first semester.  He made me believe in myself and pushed me outside of my comfort zone which helped my transition from high school to college.  

You’re majoring in biology because?

I want to pursue a career in the medical field.  I haven’t yet decided but am considering pharmacy, optometry, and physical therapy. 

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
   
I am involved in SAAC, Pre-Health Professions Club, and Dance Marathon.  

Who are your go-to musical artists?
   
Dan + Shay, David Guetta, Pitbull

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
   
I have played sports ever since I was a little girl, and I am grateful that I got the opportunity to continue playing golf at the collegiate level.  I have made lifelong friendships and memories that I will cherish forever.    

Best course you’ve ever played
   
Lookout Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona.  I’m guessing when we travel to Scotland I will love those.

I think my attitude and demeanor are the best parts of my game.
 
Favorite TV Show
   
I don’t watch many TV shows, but I do enjoy watching The Price is Right. :) 

What are you excited about with Coach Schumacher?   
   
With her Masters in Sports Psychology, I am excited to learn more about her mental approach.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central golf? 
   
I love the competitive nature of our team.  We compete against each other and as a team, but ultimately we are each other’s biggest supporter.  

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
   
I hope to have a job that I enjoy and to be coaching a high school state golf team.
