Why Central?
I actually transferred to Central my freshman year. I had always known about Central from family, but once I visited and saw how beautiful campus was, I fell in love. The people here are so great and the opportunities I get through Central are priceless.
Favorite professor and why?
Jen Diers is my favorite even though I am not an eduucation major. She is so passionate about her work, students, and overall life that she makes class great every time. As a plus, I traveled to Africa with her in May which is an experience I will never forget.

You’re majoring in Psychology because?
I am really interested in learning about people and learning about the counseling/coping side of psychology. I would love to work as a child life specialist in a hospital to help kids understand what they’re going through.
Describe the worst job you’ve ever had.
I worked in a shoe store in high school and had to put shoes on people’s feet. To this day, I can’t stand the smell of feet.
Strangest thing you have ever eaten?
I ate a fried candy bar at the fair once! I really live on the wild side.
What words of wisdom would you pass on to your childhood self?
Please stop bringing that light blue eye shadow on the bus with you to school. It’s not a good color on you, I promise.
Subway or Jimmy John’s?
Jimmy Johns sandwich but subway cookie. Best of both worlds!

The one thing people don’t about Coach Ferrell
Oh man where do I start! He has some killer dance moves. He jokes about becoming a professional wedding dancer to dance with the moms and grandmas and get people movin’ on the dance floor. If you need to picture his dance moves, just stop by practice some afternoon.
Why do you love Central tennis?
I’ve never been a part of a team quite like this one. Central tennis has a group of girls who care about one another and want the best for each person. It is a team where you are able to be involved and dedicated to school, but at the same time, you can have fun and compete with a great group of girls.

Bucket list.
I really want to see the northern lights, see the Eiffel Tower at night, and go back to Sierra Leone to love on the kiddos. Pretty much travel the world!
