Tara Kohlhaas rejoined the Central College volleyball coaching staff in 2018.

In her first stint with the Dutch program from 2011-15, Kohlhaas was in charge of the junior varsity program and helped with the varsity team. She has additional collegiate coaching experience at Mount Mercy University.

A former high school coach, Kohlhaas has spent time at both Marion High School and Belle Plaine High school in the Cedar Rapids area. She was the head varsity coach at Belle Plaine in 2007-08.

Kohlhaas split her collegiate volleyball career between Kirkwood Community College in Iowa and the University of South Carolina - Upstate. At Kirkwood, her team registered a pair of fifth-place finishes at the NJCAA national championships.

Tara and her husband Jeremy are co-owners of The Wijn House in Pella. They have two children, Kenzie and Wyatt.
