Nicole Green joined the Central women's volleyball staff in 2020.

In five years as a high school varsity assistant coach in Arizona, Green coached for three state tournament teams. Her 2013 Sandra Day O'Connor High School team had a 34-7 record and advanced to the semifinals of the Division I state tournament. The Desert Edge High School team qualified for state in 2015 and 2016. She also coached two seasons at Owatonna High School in Minnesota.

Green was the owner and director of Fortitude Volleyball Club from 2014-2020, growing the club from four indoor teams to 15 indoor teams and a beach program. She assisted across three different age levels from 2014-2018 and helped four teams qualify for the USA Volleyball Nationals.

Green played three seasons of collegiate volleyball at Waldorf College, helping the team to the NAIA Region VII Quarterfinal in the program's third season of NAIA competition. The team had a 54-58 record in her three seasons.
