Central College Athletics

Kelsey Roxworthy joined the Central women's soccer staff in 2017 as an assistant coach.

Roxworthy enjoyed a four-year career with the Dutch program, achieving an overall record of 49-20-9 (.686) a 17-8-4 mark (.655) in conference matches. She served as a team captain during her final two seasons, earning a varsity letter all four years.

On the field, Roxworthy was recognized as a second-team all-conference defender as a senior. She also received honorable mention as a junior in 2015. 

In her two seasons on the Central staff, the program is 24-9-4 (.742) overall and 9-5-2 (.625) in conference play. In 2017, the Central coaching staff was named the league's coaching staff of the year.

At Central, her coaching responsibilities include running the winter high school clinic and the summer youth camps. Additionally, she coordinates the program's visit days and recruiting visits.

She has a USSF National 'F' License and also holds a Grassroots license, which is part of the new coaching criteria.

Roxworthy has prior coaching experience with the Pella High School program, assisting the Dutch girls’ team in 2017. She has also worked the Pella Soccer Club girls’ high school team. A veteran camp coach, she has also worked summer camps at Strikers Fox Valley in Geneva, Illinois and Coerver Coaching in St. Charles, Illinois.
