Austin Hellbusch joined the Central women's basketball staff in 2014.

Hellbusch has been the head junior varsity coach at Central as well as an assistant coach with the varsity team since 2014.

A veteran high school coach, Hellbusch was the head coach for the boys team at Dakota Valley High School (S.D.) for three years (2004-07). He also spent one year leading the boys team at Belmond-Klemme High School (2003-04) and the girls team at Des Moines Christian High School for two years (2001-03).

A Northwestern College graduate in 2000, Hellbusch also served as an instructor at the Northwestern College Basketball Camp for nine years and the Jess Settles The Next Level basketball camp for five years.
