    Assistant softball coach
A national champion as both a collegiate player and a coach, Marcy Roff returned to the Central College softball staff as pitching coach in 2017. She previously served in that role for three seasons (2001-03).
    
Part of the NFCA Division III coaching staff of the year at Central in 2003, Roff coached a pair of all-American pitchers who helped lead the Dutch to the NCAA Division III title that year.
    
Roff was head coach at Dana College (Neb.) from 2004-10, turning the program into a contender and compiling a 203-141 record. A two-time conference coach of the year, Roff piloted Dana to a league title in 2006 and an NAIA national tourney berth in 2008.
    
She was also a high school head coach, serving from 1999-2002 at Knoxville and in 2017 at Pleasantville. Earlier she was an assistant at Central Decatur High School for two years. She’s taught special education at Pleasantville Middle School since 2015.
    
A former Des Moines Lincoln High School all-stater, Roff is a 1998 Simpson College graduate. She was an all-Iowa Conference pitcher, an NCAA Division III championship team member in 1997 and four-time NCAA tournament participant.
