Eric Fay joined the Central softball staff as assistant coach in 2023 following a 34-year career in the investment management industry. He retired from a position as Managing Director, Head of Business Operations for Hartford Investment Company, where he also served as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

A 1986 Western Connecticut State University graduate, Fay has served as a youth baseball and hockey coach. He was also a board member and director of baseball for the Cuba Goodwill Tour for Team Culture Connect, a nonprofit organization formed to provide teens the opportunity to connect with peers through their shared interests of baseball and dance.

During the off-season, Fay and his wife Jill live in Middlebury, Connecticut. They have a daughter and a son.
