Obinna Agomo (oh-BEE-nuh  uh-GO-mo) was named assistant men's basketball coach at Central in 2017.

During his four seasons at Central, he’s helped the team advance to the conference tournament final in 2018 while coaching eight all-conference performers.
  
Agomo joined the Dutch staff after spending two seasons coaching with the Lisle (Ill.) High School boys’ program. He also worked with the Chicago Bulls Youth Academy in Lisle.
  
 A team captain at Greenville, Agomo was an all-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference second-team selection. He was also an all-SLIAC defensive team pick in 2010 and 2011.
    
A four-year international career sent Agomo around the world, playing in 10 different countries on five different continents. Drafted 24th by the London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada in 2012, Agomo played for  the Nigerian national team in 2013 and earned all-star recognition in Kosovo.
    
Agomo earned a bachelors degree in sports management from Greenville in 2011 and completed his masters degree in coaching from Greenville in 2018.

  • Team had 50-51 (.496) record, 34-30 (.531) mark in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games in his four seasons
  • Second team all-SLIAC in 2012
  • Led SLIAC in offensive rebounding (2.5 rpg) in 2010-11
  • Named to SLIAC's all-defensive team in 2010-11

Professional

  • Drafted 24th by the London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada in 2012
  • Member of the Nigerian men's national basketball team in 2013
