Jamel McKnight joined the Central men's basketball staff in 2019.

McKnight was three-time varsity letterwinner for the Dutch men's basketball team, earning all-confernece plaudits in his junior and senior seasons. He played in 61 games over three seasons, starting 47 times. He scored 710 points, good for 11.6 points per game. He also had 205 career rebounds and 210 career assists.

He started for the 2016-17 squad that won three road games in the conference tournament to win the league's automatic bid and a trip to the NCAA Division III tournament.

McKnight is also an admissions counselor at Central.
