Central College Athletics

Jeff Sanger joined the Central football coaching staff in 2003.

Sanger, a 2001 Central graduate, was a two-time all-America selection, a two-time Schilder team MVP award winner and a three-time all-Iowa Conference pick as a linebacker. He also was chosen as a Central team co-captain for two seasons. The Britt, Iowa native set the school freshman-season tackles record in 1997 with 111 and racked up 375 stops in his career.

Sanger is a staff accountant in the Central controller's office and earned a master's degree at Iowa State University. He and his wife, Christy, were married in June.
