Central College Athletics

Jeff Devries joined the Central football staff as an assistant coach in 2024.

DeVries grew up in Pella and was a 1987 Central grad. He was a two-year starter at offense tackle for the Dutch and four-year letterwinner. DeVries was part of teams that won 40 games, four conference titles, three NCAA Division III playoff appearances, including the 1984 Stagg Bowl season. 

DeVries retired back to Pella after a career in finance as well as owning his own business for over 20 years.

He and his wife, Kristin, have two sons and a daughter.
