Cody Huisman rejoined the Central football staff in 2018 after having previously been with the program from 2014-16. He works with the slot receivers and S-backs

Huisman, a 2008 Central graduate, was a third-team D3football.com All-West Region pick as a wide receiver in 2007. He was also a first-team all-conference choice that season. In all three of his seasons at Central, the Dutch qualified for the NCAA Division III playoffs. In 2007, Central won their first two games and advanced to the quarterfinals. The Dutch posted a a 29-1 regular-season record over his three seasons while winning three league titles.

Also a track and field athlete, Huisman was an NCAA Division III Men’s Track and Field Outdoor Championships qualifier in the 4x100-meter relay and an all-conference honoree in the same event.

Huisman served on Central's faculty in the exercise science department from 2012-21. He also has NSCA-CSCS
certification as a strength and conditioning coach.
