Central College Athletics

Bob Smith joined the Central football staff as an assistant coach in 2024.
 
Smith retired from a career as a lawyer, working in private practice in Des Moines and as General Counsel of Vermeer Corporation in Pella.

He gradted from DePauw University in 1980 and from Drake University Law School in 1973. He played golf for DePauw and is still an avid competitive golfer.
           
He and his wife, Donna, have a son and a daughter. Donna is a member of Central's Board of Trustees.
