Central College Athletics

Todd Oberthein joined the Central College baseball coaching staff in 2021.

For the past three years Oberthien has served as a pitching and hitting instructor for Perfect Game in Cedar Rapids, helping develop and scout top Iowa high school players. A 2018 Mount Mercy graduate and Solon, Iowa native, Oberthien compiled a 1.71 earned run average with nine saves as a relief pitcher in 2018 for the Mustangs, gaining Heart of America all-conference honorable mention.
