Dunsbergen joined the Central College baseball staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2015 season.

Dunsbergen is a 1995 Iowa State graduate where he was a four-year baseball letterwinner. He is a full time engineer at Pella Corporation and currently leads two youth baseball USSSA traveling tournament teams in Pella.
