Coe vs. Washington - St. Louis (5-13-17)
Maliah Fligg made her first appearance of the regional and spun a four-hit shutout to propel Coe College into the regional title game with a 2-0 victory over Washington University in St. Louis.

Fligg (15-4) walked one and struck out three in the complete-game effort. The Kohawks (31-10) struck in the first inning when Mallory McArtor and Allie O’Brien led off with back-to-back doubles. Coe added a crucial extra run in the seventh as Haley Jones tripled down the right-field line and scored on a throwing error.

Washington-St. Louis pitcher Maggie Clapp (16-4) absorbed the loss, allowing one earned run in six innings on six hits and a walk with one strikeout. The Bears close the year at 27-14.

Coe takes on St. Thomas (36-9) in a 1 p.m. title game Sunday and needs a win to force a final game. One St. Thomas victory sends the Tommies on to a super regional contest next weekend against the winner of the Decorah, Iowa Regional.
