PELLA—After having the weekend off, the Central College cross country squads slipped in the second U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's weekly Division III national rankings.
           
The Dutch men fell to No. 27 while the women dropped out of the top 30. They are still the top team receiving votes.
           
In the regional rankings, the women were once again No. 4 and the men were No. 5.
           
New York University leads the way in the women's national poll and Johns Hopkins University (Md.) paces the men's list.
           
Central will sends its top runners to the Running of the Cows hosted by Carleton College on Saturday, October 3.
