PELLA — The Central College men's wrestling team cruised to a pair of American Rivers Conference dual victories Saturday after falling in its opener at the American Rivers Conference dual pod hosted by the University of Dubuque.

The Dutch (12-4, 4-1 conference) were downed by #1/2 Wartburg College 35-9 in their first match but followed it up with a 31-10 win over the University of Dubuque and a 42-7 thrashing of Buena Vista University

Cade Siebrecht (senior, 149 pounds, Lisbon) was the lone player to go 3-0 for the Dutch. Ranked No. 10 in Division III, he defeated No. 9 Caleb Olson of Wartburg in sudden victory. He ousted Dubuque's Ashton Hayhurst and pinned Ben Bouaphaeko of Buena Vista at the 1:45 mark of the first period.

Freshman Jamal Neeway (Waukee, Northwest HS) won both of his matches by fall in the first period against Buena Vista and Dubuque.

Sam West (senior, Burlington, Notre Dame HS) earned a pair of wins at 197 pounds, adding a pin against Wartburg and a technical fall against Dubuque.
