PELLA— The Central College football made its season debut in the D3football.com poll while moving up two spots in the newest American Football Coaches Association top-25 rankings Monday.
Central sits at No. 23 in both polls, having been No. 25 in last week's AFCA poll.
In their most recent game, the Dutch beat Luther College 63-26 to move to 3-0 on the season.
American Rivers foe Wartburg College is No. 9 in the AFCA and No. 7 by D3football.com. Coe College is receiving votes in both polls.
For homecoming this Saturday in Pella, Central hosts the University of Dubuque at 1 p.m.
