LINCOLN, NEB. — The Central College men's wresting team made quick work of its first dual meet of the season with a 47-0 drubbing of Nebraska Wesleyan University Wednesday.
Central (1-0, 1-0 American Rivers Conference) won all 10 matches and eight with bonus points over the Prairie Wolves (0-1, 0-1 conference).
The Dutch had four wins by fall on the night.
Dominick Marre (sophomore, Carol Stream, Ill., Glenbard North HS) ended his 125-pound bout in 4 minutes and 23 seconds.
Cade Siebrecht (senior, Lisbon) needed 3:26 to work a pin a 149 pounds.
Carter West (sophomore, 133 pounds, Burlington, Notre Dame HS) and
Samuel West (senior, 197 pounds, Burlington, Notre Dame HS) didn't need a second period, registering pins at the 2:27 and 1:38 mark, respectively.
Central hosts Coe next Thursday for a 7 p.m. dual inside P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.
