PELLA— A quintet of made 3-pointers by Jadyn Filling (senior, Ankeny) propelled the Central College women's basketball team to a 75-62 victory over North Central University (Minn.) Saturday.
           
Filling made five of her seven attempts, finishing with 15 points to lead the Dutch (4-1) scorers in the win over the Rams (1-4)
           
Emily Naughton (junior, Indianola) had 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and even drew six fouls.
           
Bailey Reding (senior, Grundy Center) and Maddie Backer (freshman, New Ulm, Minn.) also scored in double figures with 12 and 10, respectively. Backer and Ayla Hall (freshman, Webster, Tri-County HS) had four assists each. CeCe Moore (junior, Waterloo, West HS) also had seven rebounds.
           
The Dutch have a week off before traveling to St. Olaf College (Minn.) for a 1 p.m. game next Saturday.
