Dutch suffer first men’s soccer loss in over a month

First negative results of conferece season

PELLA — An eight-game unbeaten streak came to an end for the Central College men's soccer team Tuesday night in a 5-0 loss to Luther College.
           
The Dutch (6-3-4, 2-1-2 American Rivers Conference) had not lost since falling to No. 22 St. Olaf College (Minn.) on September 9. Central was 2-0-2 in league competition entering the night.
           
Luther outshot Central by a 13-5 margin and had a 58% to 42% advantage in possession.

Central travels to Lincoln, Nebraska Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. match against Nebraska Wesleyan University.
