PELLA—Despite an idle weekend, the Central College football team climbed a spot in a pair of Division III polls.
The Dutch (2-1) are now No. 24 in the American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches' Poll while they climbed to No. 23 in the D3football.com Top 25. Wartburg College (3-0) is No. 22 in the AFCA poll and No. 21 according to D3football.com.
North Central College (Ill.) remains No. 1 but Saint John's University (Minn.) tumbled from No. 2 to No. 9 in the AFCA poll and No. 6 in the D3football.com rankings after getting upset by Bethel University (Minn.) Saturday, 28-24.
Central returns to action with an American Rivers game at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska Saturday at 1 p.m.
