PELLA— With the potential for severe winter weather on Saturday night, the Central College women's basketball team has moved the start time for Saturday's home game against Loras College to 3 p.m.
The varsity contest will start at 3 p.m. and the junior varsity squads will follow at around 5 p.m. The varsity teams originally were slated to start at 6 p.m.
Central is 2-0 after road wins at the University of Dubuque and Buena Vista University. Sophomore forward
Kelsea Hurley (Scottsdale, Ariz., Desert Mountain HS) leads the team in scoring (20.5 per game) and rebounding (6.0 per game).
Carson Fisk (sophomore, guard, Searsboro, Lynnville-Sully HS) and Payton Rogers (senior, forward, Moravia) are also averaging double figures in points at 17.0 and 13.0 points per game, respectively.
