PELLA--While area schools are closed due to frigid weather conditions including minus 40-degree wind chills and worse, Central College's men's and women's basketball doubleheader is set to be played as scheduled Wednesday night.

The Dutch take on Nebraska Wesleyan University in American Rivers Conference action. The Central women (6-13 overall, 2-8 conference) tip off at 6 p.m. while the men (7-12 overall, 4-6 conference) face the No. 2-ranked Prairie Wolves (18-1 overall, 9-1 conference) at 8 p.m. at P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.
