Why Central?
I choose central because of the many opportunities it offered in athletics, academics, and study abroad. I visited Central five times and each time it felt more like home.
Favorite professor and why?
I can’t pick one so here are my top two: Viktor Martisovitz: He always has an energetic class and loves to make the class more interactive. It’s always nice to talk to Viktor between classes! Dr. Dunne: He makes O-Chem a survivable class, is awesome at helping you understand the material, and the jokes he throws out it class are pretty funny.
In your iPod?
Lots of Maroon 5, Sam Hunt, Luke Bryan, and some Imagine Dragons
You’re majoring in Physics because?
I like science, but not Biology and Chemistry isn’t my favorite either. So I landed with Physics.
Biggest pet peeves
Being cold, having trash in my car, and complaining. The time you spend saying how bad the situation is, is time you can spend thinking about fixing it!
Best advice you have ever received from a coach?
Don’t be a robot. Not everything works for everyone, so find what works best for you. A robot is programmed to do specific things at specific time, but a good player pushes the boundaries.
What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?
I have scars running horizontally across my calves. You aren’t allowed to wear metal cleats until a certain age, so when I got them I wasn’t used to wearing them and would hit my claves with the bottom of my cleats. Running isn’t my thing and I went through a lot of socks.
Person past or present you’d like to have lunch with
Ellen Degeneres. She is hilarious and I love her outlook on life!
Who is your hero/inspiration
Not all heroes wear capes. One of mine wears a very large medical kit. Frank Neu is always there to make sure we are healthy and ready to go! He also gives you a kick in the butt and pick you up when you need it.

Why do you love Central softball?
Every time you step on that field, you know people want to beat you because you are Central. It always brings a great level of competition. There’s no family like Central Softball, that includes players, parents, alumni, coaches, and fans. We all share a connection that makes the game so much fun.
