Peyton Bytnar
Bettendorf, Iowa
Class of 2024

Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because all of the people on my first visit were so nice and welcoming. I also loved the smaller campus and especially the perk of having an on campus driving range.

Favorite professor and why?

I can’t say that I have a favorite professor because they all have helped me so much in different ways.

You’re majoring in biology because?

I want to become a physical therapist and help people do the simple things such as just walking.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am involved in SAAC and I work at the information booth.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

Benson Boone, Lee Brice, Olivia Rodrigo

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

I think it has helped a lot if time management because I am always busy with work, school, abs practice. It has also given me some of my best friends who have definitely made college and life in general a lot better.

The best part of having a twin on campus?

My twin would say stealing my clothes but I would say the best part is having unlimited homework help all the time.

Favorite professional golfer?

Viktor Hovland

Favorite hole and toughest hole at Bos Landen?

My favorite hole is 13 and my least favorite is 14.

Where is the most relaxing place you’ve ever been?

Marco Island, Florida

Favorite TV Show

Friends

What’s it like to play for Coach Schumacher?

She’s a really good coach and she knows a lot about golf. She also gets us dessert after every round which makes us all happy even after a bad round.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central golf?

I really love the team and I think that is why I still enjoy golfing. They are so fun to be around in and out of season. Also like I said they are some of my best friends they I will stay in touch with even after college. We also went to Scotland in May which was such a cool experience.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

I hope to be working full time as a physical therapist in the Midwest with a golden retriever named George. But I wouldn’t mind winning the lottery and moving to Florida.
