Why did you chose Central?
I liked the small campus, friendly professors, and a great program for the major I wanted to pursue.
Favorite professor and why?
This is a tie between Dr. Lemke, or Dr. Mills. I’ve had a lot of classes with each, and they tend to be some of my favorite classes.
You’re majoring in Actuarial Science because?
I like numbers and thought it would be a challenge. I would highly recommend it to those who are interested in math and business.
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am the president of the currently undefeated Dutch Rocket League Club.
Who are your go-to musical artists?
Bill Conti, specifically “Gonna Fly Now”
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?
This has made me more aware of my time management, by looking ahead in the week to ensure I can keep up on my assignments while committing a few hours per day to tennis.
What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
Probably passing my first actuarial exam. It proved to myself that I can actually pursue this path and find success.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or to to the future? Why?
I would go into the past 10 years and buy as much bitcoin as I could afford.
Describe the worst job you have ever had.
I used to work the closing shift at Taco Bell. It wasn’t a terrible job, but probably the worst one I can think of.
Which cartoon character do you most resemble?
Groot. Not a cartoon character, but I’m very tall.

Psych.
What’s it like to play for Coach Ferrell?
He makes it an electric environment to be apart of and I enjoy it.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of the men’s tennis team at Central College?
I like to get to know the new teammates each year and the bonds we form.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to be working for an insurance company as an actuary, either living in Iowa or Florida.
Favorite food from Central Market
Brisket Quesadilla by a mile. This makes my day when I see it in the market.
