Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because it felt like home as soon as I stepped on campus. Everyone I met, professors, coaches, and future teammates, welcomed me like I was already a part of the central family.

Favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor is Victor Martisovits because he does an excellent job explaining material and he shows how topics can be applied in the real world. He also finds ways to make class exciting even if it’s at 8am.

You’re majoring in Engineering because?

Because I have always enjoyed math and science as well as building things, and engineering is a good combination of those things. Also I really enjoy solving problems, and that’s a big part of all engineering jobs.

Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

I am also involved on the Calm team and worship team with Campus Ministries at Central.

Who are your go-to musical artists?

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite, but I always enjoy listening to Bethel Music and For King and Country.

How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

Playing football at Central has given me the opportunity to connect with people I might not have met otherwise. I have built friendships there that will last much longer than my time playing football or at Central College. Even though we all come from different backgrounds, we are all united as one team.

What’s the worst job you have ever had?

The worst job I ever had was working in a warehouse that makes road paving machines. I worked there over the summer and there was no air conditioning and the work was difficult and not very rewarding.

What are 3 things you like to do during your free time?

I love hiking, fishing, and watching movies.

Which superpower would you choose to have for yourself?

If I could have any superpower, I would want to be able to pause time. That way I could sleep as long as I wanted without taking up time in my day.

Favorite professional team and why?

I don’t really have a favorite professional team but if I had to pick one I’d probably say the Chiefs

Favorite TV Show

There are a lot of really good tv shows but I’d have to say The Office is my favorite. No matter how many times I watch it it’s always funny.

What’s it like to play for Coach McMartin?

All of the football coaches at Central challenge players to be the best they can be. They value hard work and leadership on and off of the field. This is something that Coach Mac makes very clear and it’s one of the reasons the program has been so successful.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central football?

My favorite part of Central Football is the culture that we have. We really are like a big family with brothers who care for each other and we have so many traditions that make Central Football special.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

I’m not sure what I’ll be doing in 10 years but all I hope is that I will be serving God well.

Favorite food from Central Market

My favorite food from the Market is definitely fruit pizza. I can never leave the Market without grabbing a piece (or three).

Bucket list

I’ve always wanted to go skydiving, go to Alaska, and travel Europe.
