Why did you chose Central?

I chose Central because of the atmosphere and the class sizes. I knew Central was where I wanted to be after my first visit.
 
Favorite professor and why?

I would say Professor Olin is my favorite because he is very enthusiastic about what he teaches, and his enthusiasm is contagious!
 
You’re majoring in Business Management because?

I want to start my own business some day and I have always been interested in the world of business.
 
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?

Considering the fact that I am in two sports, I do not have a lot of spare time to get involved, but I wish I could be involved in all the clubs like Board Game club and Art club!
 
Who are your go-to musical artists?

I would say my absolute favorite band is Fall Out Boy, then AJR, and then Post Malone.
 
How has attending Central and playing a sport impacted your life?

I have met some of the best people who I know will become life-long best friends! They have made me love where I’m at in life and I wouldn’t change anything about my experience here at Central.

What made you want to try triathlon?
 
I attended the involvement fair my freshman year and they had a booth set up, and my friend and I talked each other into signing up for the then Triathlon club (now officially a varsity sport). I did cross country in high school, and I enjoyed swimming and biking so I figured it would be something fun to try!
 
The best place you’ve ever been swimming
 
The best place I have ever been swimming would have to be in Gulf off the beaches of Panama City Beach on a vacation I went on. The water would go from being perfectly flat and calm one day to huge waves the next day. It was always a lot of fun never knowing what the water would be like each day!

Best restaurant in Marion County?
 
The best restaurant in Marion County would have to be Mr. C’s in Knoxville. They have the best breakfast and even better pancakes.
 
What is your dream job?
 
My dream job would have to be something where I get paid to just travel the world and experience as much as I can or get paid to play video games!
 
Favorite TV Show

I have two favorite TV shows: Survivor and Stranger Things. I could watch these shows over and over again if I could.
 
What’s it like to compete for Coach Hedrick-Rozenberg?

It is great to compete for Jennie because she pushes me to do my best! I’m not the best swimmer, but whenever we are at practice, she is always super encouraging and makes me feel like I am the best swimmer!
 
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central triathlon?

My favorite part of being on the triathlon team is knowing that I am making history for the team. Since I am the first person to join the team that is still here, I feel like I am making a difference every time we compete.
 
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?

I hope that I will be working in my dream job or doing something else that I love.
 
Favorite food from Central Market

I definitely enjoy when the market has hummus, but my absolute favorite food from the market would have to be the chicken wraps on Friday’s.
 
Bucket list

Skydiving is at the top of my bucket list, but I would have to have completing an Ironman and learning how to surf on there too at a close second and third.
