Why did you chose Central?
I chose Central because it felt like home. I was looking for a small school where I would be a person instead of a number. Central has a supportive atmosphere and it is evident that the professors and faculty want you to succeed.
Favorite professor and why?
Professor Goodman! He was my LAS professor freshman year and he always has interesting stories to tell! I enjoy stopping by his office to chat and catch up!
You’re majoring in Accounting and Business Management because?
I decided to major in Accounting and Business Management because I love numbers! I took my first accounting class sophomore year and I loved it!
Besides athletics, what else are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in Book Club and EAM Club!
Who are your go-to musical artists?
My man, Luke Combs of course!!
What did you do for work and for fun in the summer of 2019?
This summer I was an accounting intern at LattaHarris LLC, in Washington, Iowa. I also enjoyed watching my three younger brothers play baseball, kayaking, and reading in my hammock!
What’s the weirdest nickname you’ve ever had?
My name in my cousin’s phone is Courter Pounder.
If you were 80 years old, what would you tell your children and grandchildren?
-Give your best in whatever you’re doing and you’ll never be disappointed!
-Wash your hands and say your prayers, germs and Jesus are everywhere.
-Go Dutch!!
What song best describes your work ethic?
I would pick “The Champ” by Nelly because you always gotta put in the work to see results!
Where would you go in a time machine?
I would go back to kindergarten so I could play four square and take naps every day!
Favorite TV Show
My favorite tv show would be Friends or the Office. Both make me laugh no matter how many times I’ve seen it!
What’s it like to play for Coach Czipri?
Coach Czipri genuinely cares about her athletes. She wants everyone to reach their full potential, on the court and in life. Coach constantly pushes us to be our best for our teammates instead of ourselves.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central volleyball?
Without a doubt, my teammates! They are so supportive both in and outside the gym! I am forever grateful to Central Volleyball for giving me so many great friendships! Go Big Central Red Dutch!
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
Ten years from now I hope to have a job that I enjoy, a beautiful family, and at least four dogs.
Favorite food from Central Market
Breakfast of Champions doughnuts! I can beat anyone in a doughnut eating contest, @Zach.
