Why did you choose Central?

I chose Central because it had everything I was looking for.  I liked the feel of a smaller school, and I was able to play basketball while pursuing Actuarial Science. It’s close to home, has a beautiful campus, and everyone was so friendly when I visited, I immediately knew it was the right fit for me.

Favorite professor and why?

Dr. Tuan Nguyen because he is a comedian. I actually have a Twitter thread of a few of his funniest moments.  He also comes to basketball games, so shoutout to him!!

Who are your go-to musical artists ?

I like a lot of different genres, so it depends on my mood, but Thomas Rhett and Post Malone never steer me wrong.

You’re majoring in Actuarial Science because?
               
I’m a nerd and I like math. Actuarial Science gives me the opportunity to apply both math and economics to real-world applications while being able to work both collaboratively and independently.

Favorite professional basketball team?
               
Golden State Warriors-straight bandwagon fan. Just kidding, kind of. I didn’t start watching the NBA until the Warriors made it to the finals, but that’s because my friend’s dad coached Harrison Barnes. The year they made it to the finals, HB was on the team, so we had a big party to watch the last game. The Warriors were the first team I started rooting for, so that’s my team now.
 
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
               
I went to give Jenna Clark her birthday present, except I didn’t go up enough floors and I knocked on the wrong person’s door. But I didn’t realize it, and Cynthia was with me and said Wait! So I thought she meant she wanted to hide and knock--knock-ditch her, so I hid in the trash closet for no reason. Thankfully the person never opened the door.

What language do you wish you could speak?
               
Sign language.

Teammate most capable of winning on American Ninja Warrior
               
Bryce. She’s quick, strong, and agile. Her height might pose a challenge though. haha

What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
               
Pancheros. Money spent on food is always worth it-especially at Pancheros.

Favorite TV Show
               
Parks and Rec, because Ron Swanson and Andy Dwyer. Although recently I’ve been binging Atypical. It’s a good mix of comedy and drama.

What’s one thing people might not know about Coach Steinkamp?
               
He likes to jump into the locker room to celebrate after we get a W.

What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central basketball?
               
The team is the best part. Everyone is so goofy. I’m grateful to know that I have support from them on and off the court.

who knows? I just hope I’ll be happy, have traveled a lot, and have a job that I enjoy.
