As a prospective student, I chose Central initially because of their strong academics, athletics, and study abroad program.
Favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Sam Mate Kodjo who teaches Spanish. He is truly one of a kind. His unique language background from living in Ghana, Spain and the United States, is unparalleled from anyone I have ever met. His spontaneity keeps students on their toes and makes for an interesting class as well.

I listen to a variety but Taylor Swift, The Killers, Vance Joy cover a large part of what I listen to!

I am majoring is Spanish in hopes to become a high school Spanish teacher. I have always had a fascination for Spanish. Learning to speak Spanish has pushed me and allowed me to make connections with people that I would not have been able to before, both in the states and abroad. I hope to someday give students the same experiences that I have encountered by learning Spanish.

What is it like to run for Coach Dunham?
Coach Dunham is a big hugger! He is also a man with a plan. He knows the trajectory of where he wants the team to go. Though he enjoys goals and dreams, he doesn’t lose sight of the present by fostering positive relationships and treating his athletes like family.
What’s your favorite part about being a member of Central cross country?
My favorite part of being in cross country at Central is growth. Whether it’s growth in running, relationships, or personal growth, cross country has helped me grow in ways that I could not have forseen or encountered without coming to Central. I appreciate the ways cross country stretches me, and I feel lucky to do it all alongside my teammates, who double as my best friends.
