Junior
Johnston, Iowa
Why Central?
I grew up in Pella and lived here through middle school, so I’ve always felt at home in Pella. During my Junior year of high school at Johnston I contacted Coach Dunham and we set up a visit. I stayed with a friend of mine who attended Johnston and after sitting in on a class and meeting the team, I was hooked. I also was very impressed with the education department and the CTA program.
Favorite professor and why?
I have like a four way tie between my favorite professors. I have loved every Sociology course I have taken here, and Jon Witt, Shawn Wick, and Dawn Reece have all done an excellent job. I also have loved the two classes I have taken with Karen Cleveland. She has some awesome real life experience that she can share with the class.
