Oscar Silva became an assistant athletic trainer at Central in 2026
He earned his master's degree in athletic training from Grand View in May, 2026. Previously, he finished his bachelor's degree in kinesiology and health promotion from Grand View in May of 2024.
He spent the fall of 2024 working at Central with the women's soccer program as part of his master's program. A former collegiate soccer player for the Vikings, Silva also had experiences during his schooling at St. Ambrose University, Bondurant-Farrar High School and Lincoln High School in Des Moines.
