Katie Mayhew returned to her alma mater as an assistant athletic trainer in 2023
Mayhew is a 2021 Central graduate and four-year member of the Dutch softball team.
She attended Grand View University to earn her Master of Science in athletic training, graduating in 2023. She spent the 2022-23 academic year as an immersive student at Central.
Originally from Grand Mound, Iowa, Mayhew is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Mid America Athletic Trainers Association and the Iowa Athletic Training Society.
