Kate Jones was named the assistant women's soccer coach at Central College in 2025.

In her first season at Central, the Dutch were 10-5-3 overall and 3-3-2 in the American Rivers Conference. Central advanced to the A-R-C semifinals and had two players receive United Soccer Coaches All-Region status. She worked with the midfielders and forwards and saw 11 different players contribute to the scoring during the season, including all-region and all-conference forward Piper Eighmy.

Jones came to Pella after spending the 2023 and 2024 seasons as an assistant coach at Lincoln Memorial University (Tenn.). The Division II Railsplitters finished 10-5-3 and advanced to the 2024 South Atlantic Conference tournament championship match. The program was 18-12-6 during her tenure while having seven conference offensive or defensive player of the week accolades.
           
Prior to that, she was the Director of Player Analysis/Soccer Operations at Division I Xavier University (Ohio). The Musketeers were 30-7-6 in her two seasons.
           
She is a USSF Licensed Coach and has several United Soccer Coaches diplomas, including Goalkeeping Level 1.

Additionally, she was the head coach of the Cincinnati United Soccer Club from August of 2021 to May of 2023. After an injury ended her own career, she was a volunteer student assistant coach at Division III Westminster College (Pa.) for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years.
