Yench joined the Central staff as athletics videographer in 2024. A Aurora, Illinois native, Yench is a 2022 North Central College (Ill.) graduate.
Prior to joining the Central staff, Yench was lead sports editor/producer for Naperville Community Television after previous serving there as sports/news reporter in 2023-24, videographer from 2022-23 and sports videographer from 2019-22. Yench covered local sporting and news events as well as producing and editing a 30-minute weekly sports show. He increased sports coverage impressions by 30%. He also spent a year in 2021-22 as a sports writer/producer for the North Central student newspaper.
