Central College Athletics

Jaime Miranda became the head coach of the women's wrestling team at Central College prior to the 2025-26 season.

He previously spent the 2024-25 season as an assistant coach for the women's program. while also working in the Upward Bound office at Central.

Miranda was the head coach for the MOC-Floyd Valley High School's girls team for two season from 2022-24. He guided the team to a second-place finish at the Siouxland Conference tournament in 2024. He was also an assistant coach for the boys team in 2021-22.

Miranda served in the United States Marine Corps from November of 2017 to August of 2021. He worked as a chaplain's assistant, combat vehicle operator and squad leader. While serving, he was a part of the All-Marine Wrestling Team and earned a spot in the World Team Trials Challenge in the 82-kilogram class of Greco-Roman wrestling.
           
As a collegiate wrestler for the Dutch, Miranda earned four varsity letters and had a career record of 63-42. He had seven top three tournament finishes in his career.
